A Legend. Reborn.

The original Ingenieur design created by Gérald Genta in the 1970s, distilled into a modern sports watch with perfect ergonomics and high-end finishing.

True Ingenieur. All Ceramic.

High-end finishing.

With a combination of brushing, light sand-blasting and selective facet polishing, the Ingenieur Automatic 42 takes ceramic finishing to a whole new level. Zirconium oxide ceramic ranks among the hardest materials on Earth and can only be processed and finished with diamond tools.

Smaller Size.

Same Look and Feel.

The Ingenieur Automatic 35 is presented in a highly wearable 35-millimeter case diameter. Despite its more compact case size, this new automatic model has all the characteristic design cues, the ergonomic proportions and the detailed finishing of the IWC Ingenieur.

The unspoiled Gérald Genta design.

At the height of his creative period in the 1970s, watch designer Gérald Genta created the Ingenieur SL, Reference 1832. For almost five decades, the unspoiled and pristine Genta design remained a secret tip among collectors. Until we resurrected it with the perfected and refined Ingenieur Automatic 40.
